Volunteer Policy & Code of Conduct
To ensure all volunteers uphold the values of Idara-e-Jaferia, serve the community with sincerity, and maintain a respectful and welcoming environment for all.
General Expectations
Volunteers represent Idara-e-Jaferia and must act with integrity, respect, and professionalism.
- Modesty in behavior, dress, and language is always expected.
- Volunteers must maintain confidentiality and not share internal discussions or decisions without permission.
Respect and Etiquette
Treat all community members equally, regardless of age, gender, background, or status.
- Avoid gossip, backbiting, or public criticism. Address issues privately and through proper channels.
- Do not engage in arguments or enforce rules harshly; always redirect concerns to a Board of Director calmly.
Chain of Command
Volunteers represent Idara-e-Jaferia and must act with integrity, respect, and professionalism and most follow directions given by the Board of Directors.
- Follow instructions from the Board of Directors.
- Raise concerns or suggestions respectfully through the proper process — not during events or through public confrontation.
- If you are unclear about responsibilities, seek clarification from the Board of Directors rather than act independently.
Dress Code
- Volunteers should dress modestly and appropriately for religious settings.
- Badges or vests should be worn if provided during events for easy identification.
Accountability
- Repeated issues such as disruptive behavior, or disregard for policy may lead to removal from volunteer duties.
- All volunteers must register before participating in any Idara-e-Jaferia activity.
- Unregistered individuals will not be allowed to serve, even informally.
- Volunteers under the age of 18 must have parental/guardian consent.
Appreciation
- Volunteers are the heart of Idara-e-Jaferia’s success. We appreciate your time, efforts, and sincerity.
- Regular appreciation events and feedback sessions will be held to support volunteer growth and morale.
